From the beaches of Brazil to the locker rooms of the professional soccer team, Soccer-Tennis is played with passion, but never as an official sport. The American Soccer-Tennis Organization (ASTO) mission is to bring this fast, explosive, and exciting game to the world.

Former United State national team captain, UEFA Cup, and German Cup champion, Thomas Dooley kicked off ASTO in 2006 with the first ever Soccer Tennis Pro Invitational, featuring top-tier professional players from eight nations. Amazed crowds watched some of the world's best playing a sport they had been practicing since childhood.

Now, Dooley is working to bring the sport to the masses with the creation of a national league and amateur events across the United States. "Soccer-Tennis is a game that all soccer players, amateur and professions, know and love. It's the ideal game to perfect a player's technique...fast, exciting, and incredibly fun."

Soccer-Tennis is a lightening quick hybrid sport played on a turf tennis court with furious, non-contact three-on-three action. As the league for the new America, ASTO strives to unite soccer's young, ethnically diverse, digital, hard-core fans by fueling their passion for the game and providing inspiration to a rapidly expanding soccer culture.

ASTO's current projects include:

• Developing a national network of ASTO Ambassadors to promote the sport in every major metropolitan area in the United State
• Launching the ASTO National Cup, an amateur open tournament directed at promoting the sport and developing top talent
• Establishing an infrastructure of committed sponsors to support the growth of the game
• Promoting top tier professional tournament events throughout the country to give fans and players access to the sport at its best and leading ultimately toward the initiation of the ASTO Professional Soccer Tennis League
